PSYC 3318. ABNORMAL PSYCHOLOGY. 3 Hours.

This course examines the major forms of psychological disorders, including their classification, causes, and treatment. Emphasis is placed on understanding diagnostic systems such as the DSM-5TR, exploring biological, psychological, and sociocultural perspectives on psychological disorders, and evaluating evidence-based approaches to prevention and interventions. Prerequisite: PSYC 1315.
