International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS)
International Student Services
Advising for international students is available Monday through Friday. In addition, ISSS processes a variety of requests to help students remain in compliance with university policies and government (Department of Homeland Security, Department of State) regulations. ISSS also offers various workshops and seminars throughout the year for international students who want to learn more about topics such as off-campus employment. J-1 Scholar Services

To help students attain the education demanded by today’s increasingly interdependent world, UT Arlington offers the opportunity to study overseas while earning credit toward a degree. Global Engagement provides intercultural programs that connect our diverse U.S. and international student populations, trainings and assessments that enhance cultural understanding for all members of the UTA community, ongoing support for international students in a variety of areas, and global education opportunities.
