PSYC 3317. INTRODUCTION TO CLINICAL AND COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY. 3 Hours.

This course introduces foundational concepts and methods in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy. Students explore psychodiagnostic tools and procedures used in clinical settings, along with major counseling approaches such as psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, and systemic models. Emphasis is placed on applying theory to current issues in psychological health and well-being. Prerequisite: PSYC 1315.
