Open to music education majors only. Effective strategies and techniques of classroom management will be examined. Outcomes include developing tools for positive classroom management, identifying reasons for student behavior, developing a plan to address student behavior, developing a plan for classroom management for large ensembles, implementing social emotional learning techniques, and utilizing positive behavioral strategies in a culturally responsive learning environment. Prerequisites: C or better in MUSI 4117.
