INTD 2324. HISTORY OF INTERIOR DESIGN AND THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT. 3 Hours.

A selective survey of significant interior environments from the late 18th century to the present. Examines formative and historical relationship between architecture, interior spaces, and furnishings and cultures/societies that influenced them. Contextual aesthetic movements are explored through elements of the built environment. Prerequisite: ARCH 1302, INTD 2451 credit or concurrent enrollment in INTD 2452. Restricted to Interior Design-intended majors. Corequisite: INTD 2452.
