Dynamics of the atmosphere: examination of processes that control weather; long-term climatic cycles and geological record of global climate change; atmospheric pollution and its effects on climate. Prerequisite: six hours of science and junior standing, or permission of the instructor. Offered as GEOG 3305, and GEOL 3305 credit will be granted only once.
