ART 4306. ART OF THE SUPERNATURAL IN EAST ASIA. 3 Hours.

This seminar explores the rich visual traditions of the supernatural in East Asia. Students will read sacred and secular texts in translation and analyze broad bodies of artwork that grew alongside these tales of the supernatural. Prerequisite: Six hours to be selected from ART 1309, ART 1310, or ART 1317; or permission of instructor.
