Design Studio VI is a research-focused studio that allows students to explore architecture through faculty-led thematic investigations. Drawing on ongoing faculty research, students engage in speculative, experimental, and evidence-based design inquiry, addressing questions that span material innovation, environmental systems, social and cultural frameworks, and emerging architectural technologies. The studio emphasizes independent and collaborative research, iterative making, and critical reflection, encouraging students to develop original design proposals grounded in rigorous analysis and inquiry. Prerequisite: ARCH 5694.
