ARCH 5695. DESIGN STUDIO V: HOUSING. 6 Hours.
Design Studio V explores housing as a critical lens for understanding architecture's impact on society and the city. The studio emphasizes housing as a foundational element of urban design-where issues of density, ecology, and equity intersect. Students develop housing proposals that address social, economic, and environmental challenges while envisioning new relationships between dwelling, infrastructure, and the public realm to foster inclusive and resilient communities.
