ARCH 3505. DESIGN STUDIO V: PLACE + GROUND. 5 Hours.
Design Studio V investigates how architecture responds to and shapes the identity of place through contextual design interventions. This course emphasizes place and ground, situating design within the complex social, cultural, and environmental dimensions of the site. Prerequisite: "C" or better in ARCH 1501, ARCH 1502, ARCH 2503, and ARCH 2504. Restricted to declared Architecture majors. Minimum 2.8 GPAs both cumulative and within the major required. Corequisite: ARCH 3322 and ARCH 3325.
