This course surveys major developments in global architecture from prehistory through 1750, emphasizing the material, cultural, and social contexts that shape design. Students will engage critically with key buildings, sites, and historical texts to analyze how architecture and interior design ideas were developed, transmitted, and adapted across cultures. Prerequisite: "C" or better in ARCH 1301 and ARCH 1501 Corequisite: ARCH 1502.
