Minor in Clinical Health Psychology

About This Program

The Clinical Health Psychology Minor provides students with a foundational understanding of psychological principles and their application specifically related to mental and physical health. Courses offer insights into human development, mental health disorders, and the role of genetics in behavior, preparing students for careers in psychology, healthcare, or research.

The Clinical Health Psychology minor comprises 18 credit hours or more in Psychology (PSYC) courses.  A 2.0-grade point average (calculated only by the PSYC courses taken in residency) must be maintained in the minor. To request a minor be added to your degree plan, please complete the minor request form and seek approval from your academic advisor.
