Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art

About This Program

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art degree program offers intensive preparation in the field of studio art and is designed for those aspiring to work in their field of interest as professionals. Areas of study for the BFA degree include: Design (Graphic Design, Web Design, App Design, and Illustration), Cinematic Arts (Filmmaking, Cinematic Animation, and Screenwriting), Interactive Media (Concept Art, 3D Modeling, 2D/3D Animation, Game Design, Interactive Experience Design), 3D Studio (Sculpture, Clay, and Glass), and 2D Studio (Drawing, Painting, Photography, and Printmaking).

Competencies

  1. Upon graduation, students will be able to demonstrate proficient use of elements and principles of design in their artwork.
  2. Upon graduation, students will be able to articulate and explain with proficiency the concepts and ideas present in their artwork.
  3. Upon graduation, students will be able to demonstrate proficient technical skills in their artwork.
