Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Military, Veteran, and Family Care
About This Program
This certificate will prepare students and alumni to work with military service members, veterans and their families across settings. The Military, Veteran and Family Care Graduate Certificate is open to any graduate student at UTA and focuses on military, military-connected, and veteran culture toward effectively serving these populations across a variety of non-direct practice roles in health and social service agencies.
Competencies

Admissions Criteria
Current UTA graduate students in good academic standing may complete the Military, Veteran, and Family Care Graduate Certificate. Non-degree seeking students must meet minimum admission criteria for graduate admission, which include a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution; 3.0 GPA in the last 60 hrs of study; and university requirements for people who are not native English speakers.

Program Completion
Twelve credit hours are required in the certificate (4 courses). All students must have a cumulative GPA in the required courses of at least 3.0 with no grade lower than a C to obtain the certificate. Course credits will post to the students’ transcripts upon completion. The time limit for completion of the certificate program is 6 years.
