Students learn to function in French in business environments, with emphasis on writing business letters, conducting telephone conversations and business meetings, using terminology for transactions in places such as banks, post offices, airports, and hotels. Video segments and interactive computer packages are used extensively to reinforce vocabulary and knowledge acquired through lectures, translations, and readings. Prerequisite: FREN 3303, FREN 3304, or FREN 3305 with a grade of C or better, or consent of the instructor.
