Resource management and scheduling for engineering projects. Gantt charts and Program Evaluation Review Technique (PERT) charts will be introduced as project management tools. Students will create plans and proposals for capstone design projects. Oral and written presentations of project proposals will be made. Emphasis will be placed on teamwork, communication and organization. The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam will be reviewed for students seeking certification as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and subsequently as a Professional Engineer (PE). Prerequisite: SPCH 3302. Corequisite: ECON 2305.
