ECON 5342. ADVANCED BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS COMMUNICATION (3,0). 3 Hours.

This class encompasses oral and written communication necessary for professional communication. Students will complete deliverables for an electronic portfolio including written work samples that reflect their understanding of financial and economic principles and practices in their field of expertise. Students will evaluate best practices for writing technical documents for: crisis, marketing, negotiation, human resources, persuasion, employment, and networking pertaining to major field of study. Students will complete an oral presentation on an industry-specific topic. This course fulfills NABE requirements for communications in order to sit for CBE exam.
