CHEM 1284. GENERAL CHEMISTRY LABORATORY. 2 Hours.

A laboratory course with experiments designed to illustrate the fundamental principles covered in CHEM 1301 and 1302, including experiments related to thermodynamics, kinetics, acid-base, synthesis, quantitative and qualitative analysis. The scientific method is developed through experimental design, laboratory technique, and data acquisition, manipulation, and graphical analysis. Concurrent registration in CHEM 1284 and CHEM 1302 is advisable.
