Post-Master's Certificate in Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practioner
About This Program
The Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Graduate Certificate enables individuals with a Master’s Degree in Nursing to take a national certification exam and to be recognized by the Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a specialty in pediatric acute care. Required courses will be determined by a gap analysis completed by the program director.
Competencies
- Upon completion, students will demonstrate competence in an advanced nursing role.
- Upon completion, students will participate in scholarly endeavors to advanced nursing knowledge.
- Upon completion, students will provide leadership in professional nursing and interdisciplinary health care.
