KINE 5235. ADVANCED FUNCTIONAL ASSESSMENT AND CORRECTIVE EXERCISE. 2 Hours.

This course will provide classroom and laboratory experiences that introduce functional assessment and corrective exercises. Specific topics will include advanced manual therapy techniques designed to restore body symmetry and theories of functional movement. Evidence-based application of functional assessment, evaluation and assignment of corrective exercises will be emphasized along with the critical appraisal of research studies regarding the effectiveness and efficacy of a variety of advanced therapeutic interventions. Prerequisite: Admission to MSAT Program.
