ECON 3317. STATISTICS FOR ECONOMETRIC ANALYSIS. 3 Hours.

Course reviews probability and statistics needed for econometric analysis. Topics include preliminary Bayesian Statistics, expectations, measures of central tendency, the Central Limit Theorem, and basic hypothesis testing including the t-test. Students also learn basic coding necessary for these practices in Excel and other programs. Prerequisite: BSTAT 3321.
