Course reviews probability and statistics needed for data analysis in economics. Topics include expectations, functions, variables, probability distributions, variance, basic hypothesis testing, structure of economic data, and an introduction to regression analysis. Students also gain hands-on experience with these practices using Excel. Prerequisite: BSTAT 3321.
