CE 3361. PROPERTIES & BEHAVIOR OF CIVIL ENGINEERING MATERIALS. 3 Hours.

The nature and properties of materials used in civil engineering such as structural metals, concrete, timber, and bituminous materials. The engineering application and performance of materials are emphasized. Laboratory experimentation is also used to investigate properties and behavior of civil engineering materials. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in CE 2313; Grade of C or better in either CHEM 1465 or CHEM 1442; Permission of the CE Chair or Admission to the CE Professional Program.
