CE 3302. TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING. 3 Hours.

Planning, design, and operation of transportation facilities. Characteristics of vehicle movement; basic geometric design of highways; traffic flow relations in traffic streams; highway capacity; traffic engineering; and procedures for transportation planning. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in CE 2331; and Grade of C or better in either CE 3301 or IE 3301 and Permission of the CE Chair or Admission to the CE Professional Program.

The Fast Track Program enables outstanding senior undergraduate Civil Engineering students to receive undergraduate and graduate credit for up to six hours of coursework. Technical electives which are dual-listed as graduate courses will satisfy both bachelor's and master's degree requirements. Students pursuing a Master of Science or Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering may take up to two courses for dual credit.
