Introduction to cultural and linguistic issues in the translation of French language texts. Students will explore current technologies used in various real-world translation contexts and how to adapt texts, products, and services to the locale for which they are intended. May be repeated for credit as focus of course changes. Prerequisite: FREN 2314 with a grade of B or better.
