ECON 3318. DATA ANALYSIS AND VISUALIZATION. 3 Hours.

The application of data analysis and visualization techniques to formulate solutions to business problems, analyze relationships between economic variables, and convey findings in a clear and impactful way using programs such as Excel and Tableau. Topics include descriptive statistics, simple and multiple regression analysis, statistical inference, optimization for business decision making, and best practices in data visualization. Emphasis is placed on applications and hands-on data analysis. Prerequisite: BSTAT 3321 or MATH 3313.
