Theory and practice of compilers and issues in compiler construction including parsing, intermediate code generation, local optimization problems such as register allocation, data-flow analysis, and global optimization. Prerequisite: Admitted into an Engineering Professional Program. C or better in the following: CSE 3302 and CSE 3315.
