Examines the works of the fourteenth-century English poet Geoffrey Chaucer, their historical and cultural contexts, and his literary influences. Prerequisite: English majors must have earned a C or better in ENGL 3333 and ENGL 3350. Non-majors must have earned a C or better in 3 hours of sophomore literature (ENGL 2303, ENGL 2309, ENGL 2319, ENGL 2329).
