University Libraries
The University of Texas at Arlington Libraries is a model 21st century urban academic library dedicated to elevating the research and scholarship of our diverse communities. The Library offers robust virtual and in-person services, collections, and programming via its Central Library, Architecture and Fine Arts Library, Science and Engineering Library, and Library Collection Depository, as well as its website and social media channels. Collections include current books, journals, and electronic resources, as well as unique historical manuscripts, maps, and photographs.
Central Library is open 24 hours and contains numerous study spaces for quiet or collaborative study. Meet a research coach or tutor in the Academic Plaza, create something new in the FabLab, or get tech help from our in-house OIT helpdesk. Our Special Collections on the 6th floor holds more than 1,500 archives and manuscript collections, primarily in Texas history, cartography, and the U.S.-Mexico War of 1846-48. When you need a break, visit the Market or Einstein Bros. Bagels for a snack.
